    I am interested in systematics, evolution and biogeography of flowering plants. I have been mainly focused on the sedge family (Cyperaceae) and recently in other species-rich plant lineages (e.g. Euphorbiaecae). Jointly, my research is focused on disjunct distributions and I use genomic approaches (RADseq, HybSeq) to address questions about evolutionary biology.
