Perfil profesional
My interests are in fungal molecular phylogeny and biogeography. As a postdoctoral fellow, I am currently involved in the biogeographic study of Macaronesian corticiaceos (Basidiomycota). The subject of my Ph.D was molecular phylogeny and biogeography of Amanita and Oudemansiella s. l. I have also investigated the molecular phylogeny of commercial Chinese truffles and their relatives. As a research fellow at the University of Hawaii, USA, I studied diversity and biomedical potential of marine fungi.
